~~Greer Noble, educated in Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, and greatly influenced by her mother, a classical pianist and her father, a hunter-turned-conservationist, wrote her first title, Veiled Madness, after a three month sabbatical in Zimbabwe's Matusadona National Park, on the shores of Lake Kariba.

Her life spans careers as diverse as photographic modelling to designing, building and running holiday resorts, to explorations across Africa. In 1989, Clint Eastwood's award winning film, White Hunter Black Heart, which he directed and starred in himself, shot on location at her old family hotel, also helped fuel her imagination. A You Tube clip of this film can be viewed on the author's website. While her creativity remained under wraps during the Rhodesian bush war, it was these experiences and being privy to top secrets as a police reservist that would later provide many of the incidents and characters in her books. A brief sabbatical during the building of her small beach cottage on Africa's east coast inspired 'Checkmate Conspiracy', erroneously named 'Checkmate'. She has a daughter and a son, also both born in Africa. Her travels include the Middle and Far East, Australia, Europe and the Mediterranean and Indian Ocean islands. She's also lived in many of these places including the Seychelles and Kenya, spending months at a time in Thailand, Mauritius and Mozambique. Now commuting between Kenya and England she is again writing and very excited about her new title, 'My Funny Africa', her first non-fiction work, expected to hit the shelves later this year.
