✈️ What genre is your book and what audiences are you attracting?
Red is the Color of… is children’s literature; although the message has universal appeal. I have been attracting readers from all walks of life and all ages! I have been told that Grandma’s read it to their grandchildren at bedtime teachers use it to speak about bullying, and children read it because the characters are likeably real.
✈️ Why did you chose that particular title for your book? I chose the title “Red is the Color of… because it is a phrase that is used in my book and I wanted children to mentally fill in the blanks of what red means to them. I also chose it because I have red hair and I wanted other redheads to be able to look around them and see all the beautiful things that are red!
✈️ Give us a little insight on your story line of your book.
‘I hate my red hair!‘ Tiffany feels that her red hair makes her weird and different from everybody else. But her mother knows that the color red is not weird at all. It is what makes things vibrantly beautiful. Roses are red. Red is a color of the rainbow. Christmas stockings are red.
✈️What can we do to save the wild life of Africa?
Probably by making people more aware of what is happening in African daily life. Many people, including myself, see Africa as something from the movies - very romanticized, when in reality it is a place that needs help and aid in order to preserve its wild and unclaimed nature.
✈Where in our world do you or would like to fly to any specific destinations you might like to visit and why? Oh I would love to see the Scotland, England, and Ireland. I love castles and British history was my favorite in college. I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to historical stuff and these countries would definitely float my boat!
✈️ How easy is it for you to build up your stories, are any based on true life experiences?
All of my stories are based on real life experiences, with a bit of fiction weaved in. I find that it is easier for me to make my characters seem real if I have some real knowledge of them and their experiences.
✈️ Can you make up a quick story line sentence with the following words “ airplane, fly/flying, sky/skies, pilot, visit, destination”?
The airplane seemed to be flying to an unknown destination. The pilot’s face was drenched in sweat because this was not the course he had charted; these skies were unknown to him and he trembled in fear.
✈️ Have you written any other books that we should know about and look out for or any new ones in the future if new when is the publication date?
I currently have several works in progress I hope to have some more stories out soon.
✈️ Do you have a website, tweeter, Facebook amazon for purchases and where can your followers, fans and readers get more information on you and your wonderful book/s?
Thank you for your time and I wish you all the ✈️ flying success and reaching ✈️ the skies with your authoring endeavors.
